General Description:

Wallace's Standardwing (Semioptera wallacii) is a bird of paradise that is alone in its genus of Semioptera. It lives on the Spice Islands of Eastern Indonesia. Like almost all birds of paradise, the males are polygamous, and during their display are known to leap up to five metres high.
