Raccoon – Dexterity

Raccoon illustrated by Ravenari

Being both mischievous and adorable, possessing great dexterity, getting into places people don’t want you to get into, finding knowledge and nourishment in unexpected places, having a persistent intellect, touching and being touched, unlocking wisdom, thriving in sunlight, innate resistance to insults and slurs.

Raccoons are primarily threatened by hunting, traffic accidents and natural predation. They are extremely omnivorous and willing to try new sources of food. Raccoons are a mammal found in North America, with a highly developed sense of touch. They are adaptable and often found in urban and rural environments, foraging from bins, cars and even houses that they can break into; for this reason they are considered pests. They also inhabit forest, coastal and marsh regions.
